Temple Stay in Korea

I got chance to experience temple stay in Korea. It was Jeondeungsa Temple in Ganghwa island Incheon city 전등사 강화도 인천. The temple is located an hour and half drive from Seoul. Overall trip was organized and sponsored by KEB bank/Korean temple organization!

Activities for first day : vegetarian lunch , orientation, room allotment, Learn how to bow and greet each other, bell ringing ceremony, meditation yoga
Activities for second day: wake up at 4-', morning ceremonial services, breakfast, hike to mountain, community work, tea ceremony, lunch and departure

             Day 2 : Morning Ceremonial Services (Special prayers) started at 4.30 am! It was -13C at that time.

Be My Guest house is located near myeong-dong station Seoul Introduction  Here is information on B&B Website : l ink  Here is website of guest house : link Location Be my guest house is located near Myeong-dong station - a shopping mecca in Korea. This guest house is best suited for asian tourists due to small size of room and closeness to a busy shopping area. It is little tricky to find therefore I added google map as above. Booking Method :  You can make a reservation through their website --> link It is also little tricky since you have to give your credit card number. I reserved it online but didn't get response from them. They require you to pay first and then reserve. However, they didn't mention this procedure on their website. Make sure to pay first and then send them an email or call them for confirmation.
